Desktop App

The Desktop App provides access to Viewpoint For Projects™ items in document containers directly from Windows Explorer and your preferred editing programs, even if you don't have internet access.

ActiveX Brava Viewer

The ActiveX Brava Viewer integrates with the View and Markup tool in Viewpoint For Projects™. Within the ActiveX Brava Viewer, you can view and annotate documents without altering the document itself.

Viewpoint For Projects™ automatically installs the ActiveX Viewer if you are using Internet Explorer 7 or 8 or if you configured the Brava_Default user setting to use the ActiveX Viewer. If there are problems with the automatic install, you can attempt the install yourself.

Revit Plugin

The Revit Plugin allows users to upload models, drawings, and schedules to Viewpoint For Projects™ in a single process and in a variety of file formats.

Explorer Plugin

The Explorer Plugin integrates with your Microsoft Windows desktop environment, allowing you to control your personal containers.

Outlook Plugin

When you install the Outlook Plugin, you can upload emails into the application from Microsoft Outlook. Click here to learn more about the Outlook Plugin.

The MS Outlook Plugin application can run on Windows XP, Vista, and 7 operating systems that have MS office 2007, 2010, or 2013 installed. The plugin must be installed by a user with local administrator permissions. The plugin install applies to all users of a PC, rather than being a per user install.

The plugin also requires that Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 with SP1 or above be installed prior to use. If you need to install the .NET Framework, click here. To download VSTO Runtime 4.0 for the correct (x64, x86) version of Office, click here.

If your organization's network infrastructure utilizes a proxy server, the proxy details will be automatically detected by the Outlook plugin.

If you are installing the plugin via Group Policy onto machines running Office 2007, ensure that Office 2007 SP3 is installed (or, at a minimum, hotfix kb976477 from Microsoft needs to be applied).

For the Outlook Plugin installer, please use this installer if you are running the 64-bit version of Windows (Outlook 2010/2013 (64-bit, version 2.0.0.0)). If you are running the 32-bit version of Windows, use this installer instead.

Field Share allows all project workers to easily share and manage documents from a mobile device or tablet.

To download Field Share, select the appropriate link below.

If you use both the UK and North American data centers, you can use Project Docs or Field Share to access both data centers.
